Jason and I did make it out to the International Auto Show, and we spent most of the time helping Anthony Netto at his Stand Up And Play Foundation booth. We spent about five hours there, and we headed back to the house about about 14:00 (2pm). There were some very interesting cars on display, and we had some time to just walk around and look at some of the various vehicles and items out for the consumer. In the area that the Stand Up And Play Foundation booth was located, they had an obstacle course set up for people to try, while riding in a wheelchair. It was fun watching the people attempt to maneuver the obstacles and then shoot a basket. Very few people made the shot, or even get through the course without bumping into things. I hope it was as educational, for them, as it was fun for us to watch. Some of the cars in this same area were hand-control cars, with a couple of them actually set up for racing. Not far from us was a truck that could have been the twin to Jason's current truck - Chevy Silverado, silver 1500. I think Jason had a pretty good time talking to all the people who stopped and wanted to just talk with him. Our home health aid (I guess I should say former), Joselyn and her family stopped by, and so we talked with them for a few minutes. There were several visitors who were being pushed in wheelchairs, and we found out that they were WWII veterans. Over all, it was a good time.

Linda and the girls stayed at home while we went, and the girls were asleep when we got back home. The rest of the day was spent getting some time to talk with Linda, alone (doesn't always happen as often as we would like), and doing some clean up around the house. Linda has been dedicating some time to general clean up and reorganizing in different areas, and I need to do the same to my desk area. The rest of the day was just all of us having some relaxation as well as playing some games around the house. Jason and the girls did spend some time together, in his room, where he was able to tell them a story he simply made up, as he went along. It had to have been a pretty good story because there was an awful lot of laughter during that time. We had fish-sticks for dinner, and then the girls went to bed after their bath. Just an ordinary evening with a not so ordinary family. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.
