Wow! First Monday of the new year - that's pretty cool.

Also what's cool is that Linda drove Jason to his doctor appointment today. She drove the van, as Jason's truck is still not repaired (they said it should be done tomorrow sometime - we'll see), and then after the appointment, drove him home. Personally, I was very happy for this, as it allows me to focus more on my new job (okay, I've been working almost 6-months now, but I still feel new). I also think it helps Linda to feel more involved with Jason's treatment and progress.

Speaking of progress, Jason is doing well, and after the dressing change (and shower) the remaining wound is looking pretty good. In fact it is continuing to close up and that is a very good thing. Most of the credit goes directly to Jason, as he spends most of his days in bed, and he maintains a solid positive attitude.

We're expecting a bunch of rain tonight, and actually for the next few days. The timing is a little unfortunate, in that Nick Kimmel, one of Jason's friends, has a new home/house dedication ceremony and the rain is going to be bothersome. Fortunately, one of the out buildings on Nick's property is a large work shop that is now going to be where we'll all be sitting for the ceremony. Linda was over at Nick's house today, helping with setting up the interior for tomorrow's event. I think, if they have any more homes/houses dedicated in this area, she'll be a part of the event.

We are happy to get the rain, though. I guess it could rain for the next couple of weeks, and there would still be a need for more water. This is supposed to be a "wet" year, so I'm ready. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

  1. We have the hope of Heaven because of all Christ did. Lifting up prayer!
Isaiah 53:11-12 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
