May 31, 2014

Today began with both Linda and I doing our best to get the place ready for Jason's birthday party, as he turns 31 today and that kind of makes it a special birthday. It was a simple gathering of some of our friends, and it came off very well. We didn't over decorate (at least I don't think we did), or over prepare food - though on that front it was excellent carne asada and guacamole dip for the chips (thank you, J.B.). It looked to us like Jason was having a good time, and so were his daughters, so it was a very good day. The only thing is that it seems like Linda and I have been running pretty hard for these past few days, and we are now tired. As a result my post is short, and we're going to bed, with the hope that we can sleep in a little tomorrow. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

    Praying!
Psalms 121:5-8 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
