This morning started out much different than the last few. We were able to sleep in and enjoy each other's company, and we didn't have to get up until nearly 07:30. Well, actually I got up first and let Linda sleep in a little bit longer. When I went down stairs to see how Jason was doing, the first thing he said to me (after the usual, "Good morning.") was that he wanted a shower, and I wasn't a bit surprised. Where I was surprised was when I got all the dressings off and saw how good the wounds were progressing. ALL of them have shrunk some and it looks like in a matter of maybe a couple of weeks, as long as there isn't too much activity, they should all be closed up and we can move forward with the next step.

After the shower and we all had breakfast, Jason wanted to go to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things. I was up for that and I had a couple of things I wanted to pick up as well. We got back home and then we all kind of just kicked back and relaxed. There were a few things to do, such as laundry (Linda took care of that), and some housekeeping, but for the most part we just worked on some paperwork  and watched a little TV.

I fixed Orange Chicken with sesame, over rice and vegetables for dinner, and it turned out quite good. The sesame was one of the things I picked up at the grocery store. I figured since we were able to get ahead of so many things today I could get the blog posted early and then perhaps we'll just watch a movie tonight. I will be getting out on my bike tomorrow, as I haven't been riding like I need to. The rest of Mother's Day will be dedicated to Linda (see I didn't forget!). Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

  1. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day, Linda! So glad you'll be able to spend it with Jason!
Am Continuing to lift up prayers!
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

  2. Hope Linda had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Keep your eyes on the Lord. He'll give you the strength to face whatever the future holds. Praying!
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
