Yesterday was President's Day and we took the girls to the San Diego Safari Park. They had a great time as did we, and at the end of the day we were all pretty well worn out. The girls fell asleep shortly after getting in to the van, and amazingly, Linda didn't fall asleep. I think she wanted to be sure I didn't get lost, or get tired. Anyway, it was a great day and one of those days where we were very happy to be members of the zoo.
Today it was back to the grind, though the girls didn't have to go to school. They have this entire week off, so that is keeping Linda pretty busy, too. Both of them are growing so fast, we can almost see them get taller each day, and I think Jason is seeing it too. Linda and I took the girls to an "early" showing of Kung Fu Panda 3 (15:45, or 3:45pm). We were surprised to find that the theater didn't even open until 15:30 (3:30pm), and this is a holiday week. We still had plenty of time, and there really wasn't that many other people there, so we had good seats. The movie was entertaining, and I think that if you are thinking about taking your kids to see it, go ahead, it was worth it.
Jason is doing well, and continuing to heal up nicely. He has an appointment with Wound Care, tomorrow, and I'll be going with him. It will be nice to get back over there and visit with some of the people at Balboa. Otherwise, not a great deal going on, or to report on... I just pretty much wanted to get another update out. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

May the Lord give you this peace! Lifting up prayer to the Prince of Peace on you behalf!
ReplyDeletePhilippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
No matter what is going on in your life, the Lord is always with you!!!!!! Praying!
ReplyDeletePhilippians 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
We might not always see the Lord working but He's always there. Praying right now!
ReplyDeletePsalms 40:1-4 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
Our true help comes from the Lord! Praying to Him right now for you!
ReplyDeletePsalms 40:5, 11, 13 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. (11) Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. (13) Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
