These past couple of days have been a little rough on me, and I am glad to say that I am feeling much better. I apparently got hit with something, and it left me with little to no energy and my sinuses were very congested (still are some). Linda had to put up with me, especially at night, when I was making all kinds of noise sleeping, like coughing and snoring. The overall congestion was pretty bad, and woke me up several times as well. She did manage to get some sleep, but it was disturbed and really not very restful. Of course you wouldn't know, watching her; she just kept on going, like the Energizer Bunny.
Jason is continuing to heal up and is becoming more active around the house. He recently purchased a fish aquarium and now has seven fish in it. It is a 75gal. tank and has room for a few more, and he intends to get more, just taking his time so that the environment settles and it is good for the fish. He has been reading up on this activity and now knows more than most on how to set up a tank and why the different things are needed. It is definitely something that he is interested in, and it is going to be fun to see how this develops. Another side benefit of the tank is that the girls are pretty excited about it and interested in all the new things that Daddy is doing.
The girls all both VERY excited about the end of the school year, and keep talking about it constantly. Next Friday is the last day for the year, and then the following week we'll be taking off for a short "vacation" with them. We are looking forward to introducing them to more of California, and perhaps set an ongoing plan to show them a little more of the United States each year. Not totally sure what we'll do next year, but it will be something both fun and educational. Thank you, for all the continued prayers and support. Take care and stay positive.

Sorry you've been sick. Glad you're better!
ReplyDeleteKnow that I'm praying!
Psalms 40:16-17 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified. But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
Amazing words of comfort. Continuing to pray!
ReplyDeleteLamentations 3:21-26 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
Call upon the Lord! He hears! He answers according to His Will. Lifting up prayer to the Only one who can answer!
ReplyDeleteLamentations 3:55-58 I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not. O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.
Only the Lord knows why everything happens as it does. Leave it all in His Almighty Hands! Praying!
ReplyDeleteProverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Praying to the only One who can hear and help!
ReplyDeletePsalms 5:1-3 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Praying to our only Rock and Fortress on your behalf!
ReplyDeletePsalms 31:1-3 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
