Today was another day of just Jason and myself. We were going to attempt to get out to see Anthony Netto, and spend a little time at the beach, but that just didn't happen. Jason was just a bit too uncomfortable and he didn't feel like he was up to getting out. I believe part of the issue is that he has been cutting back on some of the pain meds and his body is still adjusting to the lower dosages. I am hopeful that it won't take too long to adjust because if it doesn't he may have to go back to a higher dosage again. He did take a shower today and he made the comment about how much better he feels after taking a shower. When I changed his dressings the wounds looked pretty good, and for the most part, the smaller of the two primary wounds looks like it might be closing up in the next couple of weeks. Perhaps I'm being an optimist, but that's what it looks like to me.

I did get a chance to get in a nice ride today, about 20 miles, and found some new places to go explore. Actually I noticed a route that will possibly take me all the way to Sea World, and that would be very cool and about 25 miles. I told Linda that I need to start working on longer rides simply to get my butt used to being in the saddle for longer periods, as well as strengthening my legs and lungs. Anyway, not much more to go over tonight, so thank you, for all the prayers and support that continues our way.

  1. Glad you know when you need to lay low, Jason. That will serve you well. Have a great day tomorrow, dear friends. If you could, would you pray for some friends of mine that live in Utah. They are losing their property and home to a man made fire that is out of control. She is a woman of great faith and has been praying for you, Jason. Thank you.

  2. So glad you're doing something for yourself! The bike riding sounds great! Glad you're finding new routes!
Hope this beautiful Gospel passage gives you comfort! Praying!
Titus 3:4-7 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
