Not much to write about today, other than Jason did take a shower and had his dressings changed this morning. The wounds need to be looked at by the doctor, and I will make it a point to have them do that tomorrow. The strange thing about tomorrow is that he really doesn't have any scheduled appointments, other than urology is looking for him to come in sometime, in the morning. We'll take the girls over to day care, probably around 09:00, and then head over to urology, and then we go to see one of the doctors, probably dermatology, or maybe Dr. Pyo - or both. We need to renew some of his Rx anyway, so we'll stop and see Dr. Pyo one way or another.

Today Jason spent most of the day in his bed, and laid in the prone position, as that helps with the pressure on the wounds on his backside. Most of the discomfort he is experiencing is from that area, and this is about the only thing he can do to help relieve some of the pressure. I'm hoping that the hyperberic treatment is going to be useful, as he needs those wounds to close up, and the sooner the better.

Not much else to update on, so it is an early post, and thank you, for all your continued prayers and for the support.

  1. I hope the laser did not do more harm than good. Hope the doc can give insight and hope. I will be praying and thinking good thoughts for you, Jason. Continue to take care, glad the prone helps. I remember when the doc from Bethesda wanted you to do that.

    Take good care,
    Praying tonight for your recovery,

  2. Hope you can get the hyperberic chamber treatment going soon.
It's a privilege to be able to pray for you!
Psalms 31:14-16, 24 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake. (24) Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

  3. The hyperbaric chamber is pretty cool...read about them and learned more when I studied SCUBA. They are used to treat the Bends, but also have application for healing wounds, especially burns. It can be amazing what taking the pressure off and adding some extra oxygen can do.
    Hugs.
