Today was a day that didn't have too much different associated with it, than yesterday, and that was pretty much what I expected. He went down to the PACU this morning, and when he got back to his room he was wearing the wraps around his wounds, like he had before. He was generally comfortable, and he was hungry. Once he was settled in his bed he called the food service and ordered his lunch - well, actually it was his breakfast, since he hadn't eaten anything yet. I waited around for about 15 minutes and then went down to the galley and picked up some lunch for me. Today was particularly good (for me) as they had baked salmon, and it was tasty. Jason isn't a salmon kind of guy, so he had ordered a roast beef sandwich and some chicken tenders.

Just as we had finished eating, Dr. Malone came in and spoke with us, and said that he had another few visits to the PACU, before they would have the bacteria fully under control, as the way they want, and then we will go on to the next step(s). His wounds are continuing to heal up and are looking good, and it is just a matter of time before all this is behind Jason. Then we talked a bit about Jason's rehab and those associated things, like his wheel chair. The seat in the chair is a good seat, but it doesn't always provide the level of comfort that Jason would like to have. Dr. Malone said that some specialists were coming to measure Jason for a new seat, and that it was expected this "new" seat would make things much more comfortable.

We went down to PT today, and that was good. He did a few more exercises and they worked with his arms and shoulders more. I think they are still trying to determine the schedule that Jason will be having for all his PT, with 2 or 3 days a week he is to go to the MATC, and the other days he is to go to the 3rd Floor PT room. I mentioned that he thought his arms were going to be soar from yesterday's workout, well today he said he felt fine - maybe they'll be soar tomorrow. We go to the MATC tomorrow, and he'll probably work on specific muscles again, using the row machine as well as the rope pull. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Not much else going on, so please stay tuned for more exciting adventures as Jason travels down this road to recovery. Thank you, all for your prayers and your continued support.
