Hooray! Linda is with us again! She came in tonight on a Southwest flight and we were very happy to see her. The flight was over 30 minutes late, but then what's new. The only bad thing associated with it was the fact that Southwest hadn't contacted me about the delay. I always leave my phone number so they can call me, allowing me the freedom to relax a little instead of hurrying down to the airport to pick her up. We spent well over a half hour just driving in circles - I just love the way airlines have gone, and service has really taken a back seat.

Anyway, Jason had a formation and an appointment today, and then that was it for the day. We did have some things to do, so that we could prepare for Stacy's birthday celebration tomorrow, and we knocked those out of the way quickly. We got back to the house and Jason got back in bed, with the hopes that he'd get some rest in prior to heading out to the airport. I kicked back for a little while, though I did bring down a load of clothes so that Linda would have less to worry about.

I went to pick up the girls but then found out, after I got back, that the girls had been at their mom's house and didn't even go in to day care today. The girls came in and they were all full of energy and so happy to be with us. We played for a little while and I helped Jackie in the Doodle Dome (a tent like structure that has a light reactive surface so that when you make a line or figure on that surface it stays the way for several seconds, Jason bought it for them), the girls both love it.

I have been dealing with sciatic pain these past several days, and the pain has been getting progressively worse. I'm afraid that if it continues through the weekend I will be needing to go to the VA and ask to have something done. The funny thing is that whenever I can get a little exercise in, the pain goes away, so I'm going to do my best to get more exercise in. It might be a challenge with Stacy's party tomorrow. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

  1. Have you ever tried looking about flight information online? One of the reasons I like Alaska Air is you can actually see where the plane is. Southwest will tell you if a flight's late or not. Didn't know they'd even call!
Can you see a chiropractor through the VA? They seem to help more. All drs can do is give you meds. Chiros can actually get your body back the right way and relieve the cause.
May your roots go down deep into the Lord and His Word, knowing He'll get you through the hottest heat and driest drought! Praying!!!!!
Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
