This morning we got up early, so that Jason could get to his formation. Formation was actually kind of fast today, and immediately afterward he had to go find some dental records. Apparently someone dropped the ball or lost his record because he was missing this in his battalion records. He went over to the dentist and got the update and everything was fine again. Otherwise we were done for the day, at Balboa and all we needed to do was to head up and pick up the "new" van.
An organization, North County Warrior Support, had received a wheelchair accessible van, and wanted to get it to a Wounded Warrior, so that transportation was taken care of. Because Jason is working on getting his own truck, eventually, it was decided that I would get the van, and we'd have it for our use, instead of constantly relying on borrowing the Semper Fi Van. The van is a 1996 Chrysler Town & Country with a ramp and kneeling mechanism. The best part is that it looks almost brand new, and the folks at Funday RV did a refurbishing job to effectively make it new again. It only has about 33K miles, so you can see it hasn't been driven a bunch, so we consider ourselves very fortunate.
The rest of the day was just picking up the girls and then going to Costco. About the only down side to today was that Linda still wasn't feeling well and decided to not go to New York. She has been resting for most of the day, so I am hopeful that she will get better soon. I fixed a nice tri tip for dinner, with some rice and vegetables. I guess it was a good meal, since there were no left overs, except for a little bit of rice. Even the girls seemed to enjoy it. Not sure what I'll do tomorrow. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

Lifting up prayers!
