We all got up early this morning and Linda headed off to a Blue Star Mothers (BSM) meeting. Apparently it was an important meeting, as they were having some elections, as well as other business to be taken care of. Linda was elected a position of 1st Vice President, and I think it is a position she wanted. It has to do with membership and I know she has some ideas already, about what to do. I can tell she is excited about working with the BSM and it wouldn't surprise me if she were to come and tell me that she is taking an even higher position, a year or two down the road.
Jason and I, on the other hand, stayed at home for a good portion of the morning, and then we had some errands to attend to, with the most important being picking up some dog food. We also had a few other things to do, and we had a pretty good time of spending this morning and early afternoon together. We got a chance to just talk and discuss politics as well as other world issues. That is one of the things I really enjoy doing with all my sons, and getting to know some of their opinions about what is going on in the world, and I usually learn a few things.
This afternoon, and evening was spent with Linda and Jason shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond, buying things for the new house, that they know is going to be needed. We will be doing a great deal of packing, over these next few days, and then on Friday we'll have the dedication. Moving is such a trying time, and I will be glad when it is over. There wasn't much else done, and now we're getting ready to go to bed. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

The Lord will be with you always. Praying right now!
ReplyDeleteDeuteronomy 31:6, 8 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. (8) And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Lifting up prayer!
ReplyDeletePsalms 145:14-18 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
