I woke up first today, and again found Jackie in bed with Linda and I. It was so cute that I couldn't disturb either of them, so I edged my way out of bed (its one of those TempurPedic types, and you don't feel too much when your partner moves - sorry didn't mean to sound like a commercial). I was up and dressed in a matter of a few minutes and went down to get Stacy going. Stacy has a more strict time for arriving at school, so I worked with her to get things going. Actually she was great and she was up and dressed in just a few minutes as well. While I got her breakfast and made her lunch, Linda came down and asked how she could help. I let her know that I was just about done with Stacy, but she could help with Jackie. All this time Jason was listening in and occasionally shouting out commands about not forgetting this or get Gracie out to the back, or whatever was on his mind. Jason didn't have an appointment today, so he got to just relax and stay in bed, though my guess is that he would have loved to been able to at least get up in his chair and get out side for some fresh air.

This after noon was relaxed, though I did discover a dead battery on my truck. It is a small Ford Explorer type truck that Jason used to own. Anyway, I went to move it and the battery was totally gone. Not sure why, as the light were off, and the dome light wasn't left on. Anyway, one of the service guys happened to come by while I was looking at the truck and he volunteered that they had a battery charger that might put some power back in. He brought it by and initially the battery was reluctant to get going again, but after a few minutes and multiple tries it finally began accepting a charge. A few hours later the battery was strong enough to turn the engine over and I took it for a short drive.  I guess tomorrow will be the real test, to see if the charge held over night.

We picked up the girls in the afternoon and they were having a great time with Grandma, playing in the bedroom and in the front room. The DVD player, that Jason had brought from North Carolina has stopped working, so I removed it and finally swapped it out with the "new" player he bought over a year ago. I got it plugged in and it now plays just as well as we could expect, and on top of that, it also plays Blue Ray disks. Tomorrow I will be making some modifications to hide the wires, and then it will be a matter of finding the right places to put the speakers (I believe there are nine).

Tomorrow is another appointment for Jason, so we'll be getting the girls ready and then the ambulance will show up. The ambulance will be loaded and Jason will be heading over to the hospital, while I take Jackie to her pre-school. I'll then head over to his appointment, to hear what they have to say, and to provide them with some information from my observations. It should be a fun day, again. Thank you, for all your continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

  1. Praying!
Psalms 46:1-5 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
