October 29, 2011 - It Snowed today

Today was another dressing change for Jason, in his room. It went at least as well as the first, and possibly better. We had a bunch of visitors, and because there were so many I'm afraid I'm not going to list them all. I'm actually kind of tired and I need to get up early tomorrow. Jason and I are headed to the Marine Marathon at 05:00 so I would like to get some sleep. I hope to be able to tell you more about it tomorrow, so you'll just have to check out the blog tomorrow... ;-)

Bridgette and the girls will be leaving to head back down to Jacksonville. The original plans were for them to be here until Tuesday, but their water heater ruptured and she wanted to get back to the house to get it taken care of. Jason was disappointed but understands why Bridgette and the girls need to go.

I've begun packing, and I need to get a few things shipped out, so I am hoping to have some time on Monday to do that. We get to take one bag each and a carry on item. The bag I'm taking is pretty big, and it is the same size I have for Jason, so I think I should be able to get everything packed.

Thank you, all for your continued support and prayers - we're coming to the end of our stay at Bethesda, and it feels good.

  1. Heard about the snow everywhere. We actually had sun here today which I got out in and enjoyed.
    Continuing to pray!
Psalms 28:1-2 Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

  2. What day is your flight out of there? It was beautiful here today!! We went to the City tonight and it was gorgeous, no wind, no fog, and on the warm side. Have a fabulous day tomorrow at the marathon! I look forward to pictures. Keep us posted.
