These past couple of days have been very good, with us being in Las Vegas right now and enjoying some time to just relax. We are guests of Gary Sinise, at the Mirage and each of the days we're here is filled with all kinds of activities for us to enjoy. For example, I went indoor skydiving earlier today, while Linda watched and took pictures, it was a first for me. Jason chose to stay back and rest. Tonight we went to the Nugget for dinner and then a show by Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band. Jason was recognized, along with all the other Wounded Warriors and it was rewarding to see all the people taking the time to say, "Thank you," to all the veterans. We have been treated by everyone we've met, with respect and honor.
Our visit here is going to go for a few more days, and then we can get back to the blog on a more steady basis. Jason is doing well and he is getting stronger all the time, and I'd like to thank everyone for all their continued prayers, and all the support you have been showing. Take care and stay positive.

Definitely the perfect weekend for it! So happy for all of you!
ReplyDeletePraying for the Lord's strength in your heart to face whatever each day brings!
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Hope you're still having a great time!
ReplyDeleteThe Lord will be with you always! I'll be here praying!
Colossians 3:15-16 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Probably the most well-known words in all of Scripture, but oh what comfort they give! Praying hard as always!
ReplyDeleteJohn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
