We continue to get closer to moving in to the new house and we continue to get more and more anxious to get it done. We are all really looking forward to the move up to Fallbrook, for multiple reasons, and the biggest reason is to allow a greater amount of independence for Jason. We are coming down to the wire here, and for those that are interested in the Buy-A-Brick, you can find the form on my FaceBook account, if you get it to the Gary Sinise Foundation by the 15th of July the brick will be placed prior to the dedication. Of course if you do make a purchase after the 15th it will still be placed around the flagpole, just after the dedication.

We had a fun day with the girls and right after an appointment for Jackie, this morning we all decided to go to lunch together. Actually, it was kind of a surprise lunch from Jason, and it was kind of fun. We all hadn't really been out to enjoy a lunch in several weeks, so this was special, and it being Jason's idea made it even more special.

The rest of the day was pretty relaxed, and we managed to get some exercise in. The Gateway Military Housing folks (where we currently live) decided that they wanted to paint all the fences in the neighborhood, and today was our turn. We had to keep the dogs inside while the workers were out in the backyard. It wasn't too bad, and with Kojak finally starting to warm up to me it was a little like a family life that we normally experience. The big difference right now is that we have a bunch of extra furniture in our living room, waiting on the move (used to be storage).

I helped Jason with his shower and dressing change while Linda worked on dinner. His wounds are making some positive progress right now, and I'm very pleased with the progress. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers. Take care and stay positive.

  1. Whatever lies ahead, the Lord is with you! Praying!
Psalms 32:8, 10-11 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. (10-11) Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about. Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

  2. It's a blessing to be able to pray for you!
Psalms 71:1-3 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me. Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

  3. Lifting up prayer!
Psalms 71:12, 14-16 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help...But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

  4. Keep your eyes on the Lord! Praying!
2 Samuel 22:2-3, 7 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. (7) In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
