If these past two days is any indication as to how the summer is going to be for us, then I have just two things to say about that. 1) We're going to have a lot of fun with the girls; 2) I'm definitely going to be getting in better shape. Those two have always had a high level of energy, and it seems to be getting higher! They love to go out in to the backyard and ride their scooters and bike, and even chase each other around. Gracie is still doing her best to figure out the relationship of the girls to Jason and me, but that's okay, she seems to be taking it in stride.

We got up early enough to get the girls a nice relaxed breakfast; their new favorite cereal is Rice Krispies, and Jackie is getting better at feeding herself. She see Stacy doing things and is now paying attention more and trying to copy her more. This is all a normal sign of growing up, and it makes Jason feel good about how the girls are going. After breakfast we finished getting dressed and headed over to the base to drop the girls off at day care; take care of a few things dealing with more paperwork; and, then I had to head off to the dentist. Jason still had a few things to do so he stayed at the base.

Fortunately I only had to have a few things done, more a maintenance visit, as the first visit showed that I do have a pretty good practice of taking care of my teeth. Dr. Salgado is a great dentist and on top of that he wants to do all he can to help us out; which means providing dental care for Linda and I at no charge. He and is wife Stephanie are two of the best people you'll ever want to meet and get to know, and I'm glad we did just that - get to know them.

After the dental visit I headed back to the base and picked up Jason. I had told him that I should be back at around 13:00 (1pm) and I arrived at 13:20. He had been doing some shopping and visiting and had pretty much finished just after 13:00. He was waiting out in the shade for about 15 minutes, when I arrived. We went back to the house, where he wanted to shower and get some lunch. Once that was all done I caught up on some of my email and PMI stuff, then headed back to the day care to pick up the girls. We all came back home and the rest was pretty much just having fun outside and then reading books together. Stacy wants to ready books to Jackie and Jackie wants to have books read to her. The only problem with that is that Stacy really doesn't quite know how to read just yet, but it shouldn't be too long now.

We had dinner; the girls took a bath; Daddy played with them for a little while; and Grandpa read them a story, before going to bed. I think they are going to sleep well tonight - I know I am. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers, and take care and stay positive.

Psalms 31:14-16, 24 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake. (24) Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
