Kind of a laid back day, where we didn't have to get up too early for anything in particular. I cooked a pancake breakfast, and everything was eaten - so I'm guessing they must have liked the pancakes... ;-) When we finally did get moving, to doing something outside of the house, we went shopping for a new bookcase, for the living room. Jason has all these books and DVDs and no where, other than in some cases, to keep them. It seemed like a natural choice to go for a bookcase. I guess Jason had a pretty good idea of what he wanted to get, because we walked into Jerome's and the sales guy came walking up to me (they always do that) and I redirected him to Jason. Jason told him what he was interested in, and the young man took us over to the bookcases. Jason spent all of five minutes looking at them and said I want that one, and I was very pleased with his choice.

It was a nice case, of medium height, and the color was a very close match to the rest of the furniture in the living room, as well as the style. It looks like it has the correct capacity, though I think maybe one more shelf would have been better (I asked and they don't have any additional shelves for it). Most importantly the price was right within budget, and in a matter of just a few minutes we were headed back out of the store, and that task was completed. Typically, when Linda goes shopping, it takes much longer to get in and back out of any given store; so, when we were done in about 10 minutes she felt like it had been a whirlwind visit and that we must have done something wrong. She was, however very happy with what we bought and is anxious to get things organized on the shelves.

After lunch, and a nap for the girls, we headed over to Anthony's for a little get-together, and barbeque. We took the girls over to the park, by his place and the girls had a great time. As usual, both of them were running and climbing on all that they could. Jackie got on to the swings and didn't want to get off, even after we mentioned that we needed to go fix dinner. Anthony did a great job of cooking the chicken, and burgers for everyone, and in about an hour and a half, we were ready to get back to the house. It wasn't late yet, but it wasn't early either. The girls needed to get a bath, as Jason also needed to get a shower and a dressing change. Tomorrow we have an early formation to get to, and that means we need to be up by 06:00, so that means we should attempt to get to bed a little earlier, if we can. It has been a great weekend, and we all had a great time. Thank you, for all the continued prayers and support - Take care and stay positive.
