Jason had an appointment with the VA today, and when we were originally told about the appointment we were told that we should expect around three hours to complete this particular appointment. They were to go over all his injuries; ask lots and lots of questions; and, do their best to get up-to-speed on just what Jason's condition is. That's not what happened though... We arrived at the VA, on time and within a relatively short amount of time we were in the doctor's office. She was very pleasant and said she needed to ask some questions, and started to go over a psychological type exam. I then asked if Jason minded that I was in the same room, and he had no problems with it, nor did the doctor. I then asked, about how long does she expect this to take, and she said it might take as much as 45 minutes. Jason and I just sort of looked at each other and I said, "That's not exactly what we expected." Jason then went on to explain what we were told, and she said that it wasn't the first time new patients had come in thinking they were going to be there for a longer time than what happened. She then pulled up some information, on her computer and said that the medical exam was scheduled for next week. She also went over a couple of other appointments currently scheduled for the next few weeks. It was good to hear that this had all been set up, we just wish the communication had been a little better, up front. Anyway, she got started again and in about 40 minutes she and Jason were done. I basically sat there and listened, and helped with some input a couple of times, but mostly played a video game, on my cell phone.

The rest of the day for Jason,  was spent at his house. Linda and I did a few things around the house, with an afternoon nap tucked in there. I went for a nice bike ride, while they slept, and we even had a small repair done on the floor, just before I left for the ride. Linda has been doing some of the more specific cleaning and organizing, and so far it looks pretty good. We still have a few things to get done with the living room, but that should be completed by the end of next week - maybe sooner. Linda then cooked dinner and Jason and I felt like we were being well taken care of. I like having her around. Thank you, for all your continued prayers and support, and take care and stay positive.
