This morning started out with me helping Jason with a shower and dressing change, and then taking a quick bike ride up towards Cabrillo National Park. I didn't go all the way there because I needed to get back to the house in time to get Jason to his appointment this morning.  I made sure Jason had all he needed before going, and I also knew that if I didn't get my ride in this morning there would not be time later in the day. Besides the appointment we had some errands to take care of, and then we planned on working on the garage - going through some of the boxes and see what we could put away or toss.  As it was, we removed six boxes from the garage, with three of them ending up in the living room of the house. It was a good effort though and it allowed Jason to go back through a bunch of his stuff and see exactly where things were - some of which he had been looking for.

After putting a few hours on the garage I asked Jason if he could please go get off the chair now, and he said he would, he was getting tired (so was I). I relaxed for close to an hour and then went to pick up the girls from day care. The girls will be with us until Sunday, and then according to the schedule, we pick them up again, on Monday. Funny how things work out sometimes. Jason spent the rest of the day in bed, and I was glad about that. Larry was now over at the house and doing a few things for Jason, and that allowed me to take care of the girls and get dinner ready. We had Sloppy Joes with rice and mixed veggies. Stacy was the one to come up with dinner tonight, and I was happy to accommodate. Jackie was the one who surprised me, though. She was going after the mixed vegetables, and had them gone well before Stacy.

I told them the story of Peter Pan again, and Stacy totally enjoyed it. Jackie just likes to listen and watch what Stacy and I do, as the story progresses. I don't think she is truly following what is going on with the story, at least not yet. We all sang a couple of songs and then the girls went to sleep. It was a very nice ending to a busy day. Thank you, for all your continued prayers and support. Take care and stay positive.

  1. May your roots go down deep into the Lord and His Word. Praying hard right now!!!!!
Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
