Well, I just got the girls down for the evening about 1/2 an hour ago, and I am tired. Those two have so much energy, especially when they first come over, and tonight I kind of let them play right up to bed time, so  the blame really is all mine. We had loads of fun though, followed by a bed time story, so even though I am tired, I'm happy.

Jason had formation early this morning, and it was over pretty quickly. That made it better since we had things we needed to get done. Jason had to visit a number of areas to make sure all his appointments were in place, so that he doesn't loose any momentum, going forward. For those that don't remember, Jason has been on leave for the past two weeks, and therefore there really weren't many appointments. Now that we're getting back into the swing of things, the appointments are back. On top of that he set up some follow up appointments with Derm and Plastics to see what the next steps are going to be.

We finished up at the hospital in about 75-80 minutes then headed back to the house. Jason wanted to take an early shower, so that was the next thing accomplished. The wounds on his left side are looking much better, with that one on his right giving me concern (part of the reason for the appointments with Derm and Plastics). Once he was comfortable in his bed I took off to take care of a couple of things and was completely done before noon. We both were happy with a nice bowl of soup, and then I took care of my email. When I was done with that I took off to pick up the girls, and came on back home.

All-in-all, it was a very nice day. Got a few things done, besides the two loads of laundry, and now we're just about ready for bed. It isn't too late, yet late enough that I can comfortably hit the sack. Thank you, all for all the continued support and prayers - take care and stay positive.

  1. Sounds like a full day!
    Know that I'm always praying!
Psalms 31:5, 7-8 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth (7-8) I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
