Other than being the 38th anniversary of Linda and me getting married, today was pretty much a laid back kind of day. Yep, 38 years ago, today, we got married in the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Clara, and have traveled so many roads together. The funny thing is, that First Presbyterian Church of Santa Clara no longer exists. I believe it is now the Korean Presbyterian Church. Anyway, I hope we don't have many more anniversaries apart, this really is not the way it should be done.

Jason had a formation to go to this morning, and then a couple of appointments, with PT and with the general medicine folks who give him a shot every couple of weeks, of testosterone. The day went pretty smoothly, and as far as I can tell, there were no hick-ups. About the only thing that didn't happen today, that we thought was going to happen, was that the van we have been using is still being used by us. We were supposed to be turning it back in, since we've effectively had it for over two years now, and it apparently has been with us longer than any other van they have loaned out. Not sure why they didn't contact us, or come by to pick it up, but I suspect that they will be contacting us next week. We have another van lined up, so it really is no big deal, and even that "new" van is only going to be with us for a shorter period of time since Jason is supposed to be getting his own vehicle soon (no solid date on that just yet).

The girls were back at the house at about 14:00 (2pm) today, and right after that we went to Costco. We bought a few things we needed, and the girls had a great time going. They enjoy going to Costco because of all the "neat" stuff there, and this time it was even more exciting because there are now Christmas decorations starting to show up. Anyway, after that they had their snack and played in their room, or in the front room. We all relaxed for a short while and then I fixed dinner, cheese raviolis in a meat sauce. The girls seemed to enjoy that, too. Next came bath time and then shortly after that it was bed time. I guess more accurately it would be story time then bed time, though Jackie was sound asleep before I was done with the story. Stacy wanted me to tell a story tonight, rather than read a story, so I made up a story of a Prince Jason rescuing an entire kingdom from a fire breathing dragon. Just watching her as I told the story told me I did a good job. She was happy and went to sleep.

Tomorrow we take Gracie to the training at the park, and the girls and I will be playing on the playground area while Jason and Gracie go to their training. Otherwise, I don't know what tomorrow will bring; I just might do some chores around the house. Thank you, for all the continued prayers and support. Take care and stay positive.

  2. Hope you and Linda can do something special to celebrate the next time you're together!
Know that you're in my prayers!
Psalms 61:1-4 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
