A very nice day today, to be sure. Even though the Niners failed to win the Super Bowl last night, we woke up feeling pretty good. We got up and got ready to head over to his appointments, and the day went well. OT and PT didn't reveal anything new, other than Jason can toss a 20lb ball (one of the old medicine balls) to his therapist, and even a few times to me. When you get hit with the ball you know you've just stopped something heavy. It was pretty impressive how well he handled it, and just how hard he could toss it. Anyway, he was worked pretty good at PT, and Mike (the therapist) also worked on Jason's right shoulder a bit more, to get it loosened up.

After that we went over to Wound Care and all that looked good, and making some progress. There is still quite a bit to heal up, but progress is still very good. Once we were done with all this we headed over to the Post office where I was disappointed that the package from Linda didn't arrive yet. My guess is it should be  waiting for us tomorrow or Wednesday. Then we just headed back over to building 62 and back to his suite to get some lunch and rest. After that I did a little running around trying to get some information, but all I found was that people were either not available, or busy, so I decided to come back later. Of course, later ran a little longer than planned and I didn't get back up to see them. I did, however, get to meet some new people, and that was good. While I was up running around, Jason was back in the room, on the phone with a friend of ours, Gary K. and they had a nice chat about anything and everything. It was good to see Jason engage in conversation and see that his mind was sharp.

A little later this evening we received a special gift/surprise - Shauna E. came by to visit and it was great to see her. She and I talked for a good 10-12 minutes, and she and Jason talked for about an hour or more. Okay, she came mostly to see Jason, so it stands to reason that he would get most of the visiting done, besides, I was cooking dinner. Shauna left to go to her dance practice and she said that if we're still in the area we will get to come see her in the production she is working on. If that's the case then I'm going to be working to get Linda out here to so she can see it with us.

Dinner was roasted chicken with broccoli and both Jason and I had plenty; the left overs are in the refrigerator. That has been pretty much the day today. Tomorrow I will continue to search out information as I get time, and help Jason as he needs it. Thank you, for all the continued prayers and support.

  1. Sounds like a good productive day! Lifting up prays right now!
Psalms 91:11-12, 14-15 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. (14-15) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

Psalms 121:1-4 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
