A very nice day, considering the one we just had yesterday. Jackie woke up feeling MUCH better, and full of energy. We still took it slow, and didn't want to chance her lapsing back into a flu or something, so we didn't get the girls to day care until almost 09:00. Jason didn't have any appointments, since he cancelled them yesterday after finding out that Jackie was running a temp. We did, however, have a couple of errands to attend to, and then we went and got some lunch.
Lunch was actually kind of different - it was after 11:00 when Jason said we should go get something to eat, as he was getting hungry. I said sure, what do you want. He didn't have anything in particular so I suggested Chinese, and he thought that was a good idea, we hadn't had Chinese in months. He picked the Golden Dragon and we were off. The only problem with this plan was that neither of us consulted our "smart phones" so we didn't know what their hours were. We finally made it over to the restaurant and found out they were closed. It is located over in a part of town that we weren't familiar with so we kind of just walked around for about ten minutes and came across this barbecue place. Turned out it was pretty good.
We got back to the house and it was about 13:00 (1pm) and Jason was ready to get back to bed. I did a little straightening up of some of the clothes on the couch and then did some catching up on my email. At about 14:00 (2pm) the new home health worker showed up and we sat and talked with her for about 40 minutes. Jason and I both like her so I am hopeful that she will work out. Larry is no longer going to be with us, as he has decided to go with a different direction. It is too bad, because he and Jason had a special relationship, and a big part of that was because the two of them had some common interests.
Anyway, I went to go pick up the girls at about 15:00 (3pm) and brought them back to the house. Jason was sound asleep, and in fact was asleep prior to me leaving. I played with the girls and read them a book, got them a little snack and then let them watch a video. This allowed me time to go start dinner. I cooked up some hamburgers with rice and vegetables. Stacy did a great job on the burger and vegetables and Jackie was more interested in veggies, than anything else. Well, that's not entirely true. Both of them love their apple juice. The rest of the evening was a bath and a bed time story, along with a little time with Daddy (he woke up well before dinner). Tomorrow is going to be a smooth day, and we are figuring that we will be back at the house by about noon. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers - Take care and stay positive.

Glad you found somewhere else to eat! And so glad that Jackie's doing better!

I Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
