This was one of those early mornings, where we didn't have to get going early... i.e. the girls simply got up early today and we didn't need to leave the house until almost 08:45. That made it kind of a fun and crazy morning, with Grandma (Linda) and I working on getting the girls all ready and their hair looking great. Actually, I've been taking advantage of Linda being here so that she can teach me a few things about how to fix a little girl's hair, and when she takes off in a few days I should still be able to at least make them presentable.
We got the girls to their day care and then Jason over to his appointments and then we came back to the house. Jason said he wanted to head out to lunch and Linda said how about Olive Garden. Me, I was just hungry since all I had was toast for breakfast... and a cup of herbal tea. We got to the Olive Garden and the food was good, as was the service, though it wasn't anything out of the ordinary, as we kind of expect that with this particular restaurant.
We really didn't do much for the rest of the day, other than to pick up some clothes from the cleaners and just laid around the house. Tomorrow we're going to a special dinner, with Bob Hamer, and we needed the clothes from the cleaners so that Jason could be in his Tux (I don't have a tux, but I do have a nice suit and Linda has a nice dress). I might be able to get some pictures from the dinner, but that still remains to be seen. Heck, I still need to post the pictures of the girls from the carousel, from the other day.
Tonight we had a mish-mash of different things for dinner, and realized we ned to go to the store tomorrow, if we can, and restock the place. Linda will be taking Jason to his appointment tomorrow and I will be going for a long ride - possibly 30+ miles, and I want to see if I can get it all done in about 3 hours. If that works then I'll feel much better about being ready for the up coming ride. Still looking for sponsors, so please go to the web site for the eodride (www.eodride.org) and select the San Diego ride. You should be able to find my name under the Riders and then you just have to click on my name and follow the directions. Anyway, that's about it for today, so thank you for the continued support and prayers and take care and have a great day.
