We got up early today and I fixed a nice pancake breakfast with eggs. I ended up making a few more pancakes than needed, but that's okay, we can save them for later - I think. Linda's parents are going to be here with us for almost a week, so we can have some good times with them, and the girls will get a chance to see their great grandparents for a couple of days.

We didn't do too much other than to go to Charlie Linville's going away lunch at the Bol Weevill. It was nice, and Bob Hamer was the one who organized it. There were a few other EOD Wounded Warriors there, so it was a nice social time for Jason, as well as a chance to do some catching up with the Linville family. The official "retirement" ceremony will take place tomorrow morning at the base, and we will be there too. I have posted a couple of pictures with this blog - Charlie is the tall one and Bob is the one on Jason's right.

There are some appointments we need to take care of, and then we'll head on back home - right after we pick up the girls from day care. We have a couple of activities we want to do with them, and with Linda's parents, so we are going to be tourists, at least for a few hours, and it should be fun. Maybe I'll get some additional photos posted tomorrow. Thank you, for all the continued support and prayers, and take care and stay positive.

  1. Great photos!
Keep your eyes on the Lord! Praying for you right now!
2 Samuel 22:2-3, 7 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. (7) In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
